For quite some time now I have felt the pull to 'The North' - Scandinavia, Iceland, Russia and of course Scotland. For me they are places where Nature more obviously dominates humans and I guess I like it that way.
Although this influence makes its way into my watercolour work it also draws me to paint on wood and I have discovered some delightful ways to do so.
As always each piece tells a story. .

The Rabbit Cabinet
A quirky piece of medieval mischief.
A hand painted small cabinet made of dark wood and vintage metal details, possibly Indian in origin.
